Head of Room x3 for New Day Nursery
Heads of Rooms required for New 56 place Day Nursery opening in January 2010 in Sutton Scotney between Winchester & Basingstoke.
£14,500 – £16,400 per annum dependent upon experience
As Head of Room you will be responsible for managing a small team of Nursery Nurses and Assistants to ensure the safety of all the children within your care. You will also be responsible for providing the children with a fun and stimulating environment to grow and develop.
The 3 vacancies available are for:
Head of Under 2s – overseeing 2 rooms
Head of 2-3 year olds
Head of 3-5 year olds
Minimum of NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent, previous experience supervising staff, 2+ years experience working with children in the relevant age group, sound knowledge of early years child care, and experience of working with parents.
Personal qualities required: Strong communication skills, ability to manage and motivate a team.
A willingness to complete Level 4/Foundation Degree/EYPS would be an advantage.
