The Department
At Burnham Upper School Science is currently taught by a team of five full time teachers and two Laboratory Technicians
Science has been built in to a strong department within this fast improving school. It is well organised, successful and has led good practice in the school. Students achieve good results that compare favourably with similar schools.
The department has excellent facilities with 5 well-equipped Science laboratories with data projector. There is excellent consultant support for Science.
In addition the school has an extensive wireless network, which includes dedicated ICT rooms. These can be booked by any member of staff giving access to the latest broadband technology and Windows XP professional operating system.
