Short summary of my achievements:

- When I joined my last company, 14% of the total ledger was over 60 days old.
- In my first month I reduced this to 10%, the following month in August I reduced this to 6% and at the end of September, results showed that only 3% of the total ledger was over 60 days old. The monthly target was 10%.
- Reducing DSO from 65 to 46 days over an 18 month period in a difficult industry known for difficult debt.
- I was involved in a project that was the result of a £million payment.
- On several occasions I have set up the credit control function from scratch and had sole responsibility. I have a strong knowledge of procedures.
- During a project that involved legal action, I collected payment for a debt that was almost 2 years old.

I have attended credit control courses that include debt recovery through the courts and negotiation skills.
