Thames Euroclub has some 170 members from many European countries who are living here in Berkshire. The club holds a number of language evenings each month in and around Reading and this gives members a chance to host a conversation evening in their own language and join in other events in other languages.

Currently there are monthly events in French, German, Italian and Spanish and also in English.

The English event is for those who want to practise English, for those who want to learn more about the club and for those with an interest in languages who want to help others with their English.

This gives you a chance to practise a language at one event and speak your native language at another.

Last month around 20 people from various nationalities came along to a new location for us.

Thames Euroclub is a non-commercial organisation and each event is hosted by a volunteer. Membership of the club costs £10 per year, but you are very welcome to come along to a few events before deciding to join. The club along has an extensive programme of meals and social events.
