My client a growing software house requires a Senior C# / ASP.NET Developer to head a technical team of 5 in delivering a range of complex and robust solutions. An experienced Senior .NET Developer, who would be able to motivate the technical team, adhere to best-practices and have vision for technical strategy, would be ideal.

The ideal applicant will have at least 2-3 years experience leading a small team in a VB.NET, ASP.NET and SQL Server environment. A solid grounding of the .NET Framework, VB language and SQL Server 2005 is essential as is a track record of delivering a high standard solutions on time and within budget. Any experience with .NET 3.5, WCF, XML, Web Services would be highly beneficial for any applicant but not essential.

My client has been formed just over 40 years and currently has over 100 staff on board in their Surrey head office. You would be joining a technical team of 12 and leading a smaller team of 5 which includes 4 experienced developers and a business analyst. Applicants should boast the ability to work and produce results in a fast-paced and challenging environment.

Experience in as many of the following areas as possible is beneficial:
* ASP.NET
* SQL Server
* .NET (VB.NET & C#)
* XML / XSLT
* Web Services
* JavaScript
