2nd Line Installations Engineer
£26,000 - £28,000

Due to continued growth, our client a leading IT Internet service provider with a portfolio of national and international clients, are currently recruiting a 2nd Line Installations Engineer with the ability to share their extensive knowledge and experience in managing Network Installations ranging from one server to multiple sites.

The role would involve liaising with internal departments to identify client requirements and provide the best solutions. You would be the sole escalation point when working on client projects and your proven project and hands on management is key to be successful in this role. Migration and project management experience is essential as you will be working with clients over the phone and face to face co-ordinating projects.

Essential skills and qualifications:
• Experience in installing and deploying Exchange 2003 on a weekly or monthly basis
• Active directory - experience in domain creation and extension on a weekly basis
• Microsoft server and networking experience
- Cisco (an advantage but not essential)
• HTTP, SMTP, DNS, TCP/IP and Routing Protocols
