Summary
Instant Access Technologies Ltd seeks a bright, enthusiastic IT Administrator to work at our Reading and London based offices. The candidate would need good competence in all high and medium priority technologies listed below, with experience in low technologies being a nice to have.

The candidate would be responsible for the day-to-day IT operations of a SME development company, ensuring the stability of business critical applications whilst supporting approximately 30 users across two sites.

Personal Qualities Required
• Minimum of N+ and A+ qualifications
• Minimum 2 years experience
• Self-starter
• Good written and verbal communication skills at all levels in the company
• Fast-learner
• Good time management skills
• Ability to prioritise tasks
• Ability to meet pressured deadlines

Responsibilities
Onsite training will be provided depending upon the candidates experience in the areas below.
• Monitoring - Servers and Network Devices at multiple locations
• Backups – Changing tapes
• Backups - Ensuring backup and restore procedures are fully operational
• Servers – Ensuring that all systems are reliable
• Servers - Patching server applications
• Servers – Hardware support/warranty management
• Network – Managing configuration changes across devices
• Workstations – Procurement of new workstations
• Workstations – Provisioning of new workstations
• Workstations – Upgrades/Patches to workstations
• Workstations – Troubleshooting/support
• Printers – Troubleshooting/support
• Internet Lines – Liasing with 3rd party ISP for any issues
• Blackberry – Procurement of new blackberry devices
• Blackberry – Setup of new blackberry devices
• Blackberry – Troubleshooting/support (via 3rd party)
• 3G Datacards – Procurement of 3G datacards
• 3G Datacards – Troubleshooting/support (via 3rd party)
• VMWare – Support of VMWare ESX servers
• VMWare – Creation and management of Virtual Machines
