Hi, I am an 18 year old sensible male driver and have to go to Scotland for three days. My car is old and I am worried it is not reliable. No rental company in the UK rents to under 23s. Could I rent a decent car off someone and be put on their insurance for 3 days? I would obviously give a deposit and my car could be used by them.
