Commercial Manager
Territory South East/South of England (Home based but on the road 4 days a week)
Salary: basic £35,000 basic plus Car, laptop, phone, bonus (c£10,000pa)
Confident and customer aware Commercial Manager (Food analysis) required for a large, multi-sited organisation to help develop existing accounts and develop new business opportunities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Achieving targets for new business and existing business
- Gathering market intelligence and raise the profile of organisation
- Identify and act on leads for catchment area
- present to prospective clients, including senior management and procurement
- Liaise with internal laboratory team to set up new accounts
- Prepare tender or service contracts
- Attend customer review meetings
- Represent company at Exhibitions and Corporate/Hospitality events
Qualifications/ Experience:
- Strong background in a commercial/sales driven environment
- proven track record of increasing business profitability
- Experience within the Food industry would be beneficial
- Technical background (science degree preferred)
- A self starter
- good communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- experience of managing a large number of accounts
valid UK driving license is essential.
