I am recruiting for a client who is in the early stages of setting up a payroll outsourcing business. This is heavily backed, both financially and in terms of having a very 'hands on' Managing Director.  The business will provide an outsourced business service to recruitment agencies who want to pass on the task of payrolling their temporary staff. The company has identified a strong revenue stream from this, and is looking to attract an experienced Payroll Manager from a Recruitment Sector background, to lead this division.
You will have worked in the finance department of a recruitment business, managing a payroll team with involvement in payroll strategy and systems/process review, adding value at all levels.  We are looking for someone who has managed a payroll team, and who is keen to build a team around them in their new role.  The successful candidate will be client facing, so strong communication skills are essential.
