My Teaching Approach

I believe that using vocabulary is more important than memorising grammatical structure. Having a rich vocabulary, and being able to put it to good use, you will be using grammatical structure anyway. I help my students develop vocabulary in each lesson. Grammar is important, but using vocabulary is the basis on which to build your French!

I also use Language Immersion techniques. By immersing students in French conversations, taking the emphasis off memorising words and concentrating on enjoying using French, students learn and absorb quickly. This practical approach during lessons, combined with reading assignments between lessons, ensures that students make progress with their new language.

I provide lessons via Skype (or other online means) in order to make lessons more affordable for students, and to make them more efficient so more time can be spent teaching and learning.

I hold weekly lessons with 2 students per class, costing £8 per student. For 1-to-1 lessons my rate is £15 per hour.
