Sitting within the legal department of a global business based in Maidenhead you will:

„«Provide the sales organisation with support and expertise on customer contractual matters, becoming an integral member of the sales team for each project.
„«Use experience and knowledge to decide when to use approved templates, customer documents or existing documentation as a basis for contractual discussions.
„«Review and comment on customer contractual documents ensuring responses are accurate and timely.
„«Working with the sales team negotiate commercial contracts with the customer.
„«Assess and complete contractual compliancy statements or conditions for bids responses.
„«Lead the completion of the appropriate risk assessment requirements.
„«Work with the appropriate subject matter experts and ensure their input is reflected in contract documents (e.g. IPR, Tax, Export Control, Product Unit etc)
„«Ensure that contracts have the correct subject matter and local management approvals.
„«Work with Procurement to put in place commercial agreements with third party suppliers.
„«Transfer/handover of contractual requirements into the Project Contract Management team

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
„«Minimum of 5 years proven commercial experience in technology industry
„«Contract review skills with ability to identify key issues for concern.
„«Proven ability to assess risk and suggest the appropriate commercial measures.
