Production / Maintenance Engineers required to work in a food manufacturing company based in Berkshire which is commutable from Bracknell, Wokingham, Maidenhead, Thatcham, Newbury, Reading and the surrounding areas.

As a Production / Maintenance engineer you will be working as part of a team and on an individual basis. Performing planned preventative maintenance and react to breakdowns on a range of machinery which includes high speed manufacturing, labeling, filling, conveyor belt systems, labeling and packaging machinery.

The individual should come from a either a mechanical or electrical background, and being multi skilled would be advantageous but not essential. All applicants should have recognised qualifications such as City and Guilds, ONC, HNC, Degree, formal apprenticeships or equivalent. In addition to this having worked with PLC controls would be advantageous but not essential. The ideal candidate will come from a manufacturing background of which experience in industries such as FMCG, Food, Beverage, Packaging, Pharmaceutical, High Speed / Volume, Heavy industry and production environments or similar would be suitable, since training will be provided if necessary.

This role is based working a double day shift from Monday - Friday.
