Position: Trade Parts Sales Executive
Location: Reading
Market: Trade Parts
Salary: £20 000 OTE 28 000K
Employment type: Permanent
Responsibilities:
* Identify IMT sales growth opportunity
* Identify trade sales potential by dealer and assist in the development of relevant action plans to exploit local market opportunities.
* Take responsibility for achieving new IMT registration targets via:-
o Direct Customer visits / Surveys
o Trade Action Plans
o Co- Ordination of registration administration (Validations etc)
o Database integrity and cleansing
* Advise and brief nominated Parts Distributors on local market intelligence, competitor pricing and campaign actions.
* Actively growth parts sales via the flawless execution of all centrally produced sales campaigns and propositions, maintaining and updating all necessary presentation materials.
* Agree and implement Service Level Agreements between customers and the supplying Parts Distributor.
* Analyse individual customers spend patterns and use information to produce and implement relevant growth propositions and action plans.
* Liaise with Area Representatives operating within the region to ensure a consistent approach is taken.
* Provide regional staff with appropriate tools to develop trade sales in all PTA Dealers.
* Produce, collate and analyse Trade Club sales reports to agreed monthly deadlines.
Target Profile / Experience:
* A knowledge of the parts trade industry, franchised dealer, vehicle manufacturer or aftermarket competitive parts operations.
* Proven track record of business to business sales
* Minimum of 12 months in the parts trade, customer facing or sales experience
* Sound knowledge of IMT businesses within selected sales area
* BTEC or A level equivalent preferable
Capabilities:
* Understanding of IMT service and product requirements
* Ability to plan for and achieve results
* Good communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
* Flexible approach to work - a self-sufficient, self-starter
* Ability to develop and build customer relationships
* The ability to add value and improve performance is imperative
