Junior Java Developer in Reading
We are an entrepreneurial software Company with Offices in Reading and London. We seek to recruit a bright, experienced junior Java Developer on a permanent basis working between our two sites
.
This position presents the right candidate with a hands-on role supporting the development of our flagship white-label product – mainly focused on developing modules for our CMS but also server-side functionality for consumer applications.

The ideal candidate will have/be:
• Educated to degree standard or higher
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Ability to work in a very challenging & dynamic environment
• Ability to meet deadlines

• Ability to work unsupported and as part of a small team
The following demonstrable technical skills are essential:
• 2+ years minimum experience using Java
• 1+ years minimum experience with tomcat or an equivalent application server
• 2+ years experience using hibernate
• 1+ years experience Spring and Struts
• 1+ Developing in JSP
• Experience using XML
• Experience using Eclipse environments
• Experience using Linux OS
The following technical skills would be advantageous, but not essential:
• Experience using EHCache and Quartz
• Experience using MySQL
• Experience using JSTL
• Experience using JavaScript
• Experience using Ajax
• Experience using JQuery, or similar
• Knowledge of CVS
