Job Details

 

A Trades Supervisor is required for 6 months to oversee the refurbishment and maintenance of residential properties in the Reading area.

 

This will involve managing a team of 14 operatives within the following trades: electrical, carpentry, plastering, bricklaying, roofing, fencing, guttering and drainage.

 

You will be required to ensure that the required high standards of finish are being achieved through a process of inspections .

 

The role will require a high level of liaison with trades operatives , the housing management team and tenants .

 

Skills and Experience

 

Preferably from a trades background, with knowledge of the other trades mentioned above.

 

Experience of managing a team within housing maintenance.

 

Must be familiar with the geography of Reading.

 

Applicants must be IT Literate.

 

Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people.

 

Must be in possession of a full driving licence and transport.

 

Other information

 

Required to start as soon as possible.

 

6 month contract.

 

Good transport links and on-site parking.
