Welcome to the Progressive Fighting Methods Academy. Guildfords only school for
Bruce Lee's Jeet Kune Do and martial arts cross training (MMA)

Our goal is to provide the student with the most up-to-date techniques possible, in a relaxed atmosphere, with a common goal to provide the student with a safe and effective method of self defence and create a complete, well rounded martial artist.

Our MMA Programme isn't just for people who want to fight in the cage. Its also for people who want to enjoy there training and get fit why doing different part of the martial arts

Our curriculum consists of Bruce Lee's Jun Fan Gung Fu. Jeet Kune Do, Filipino Martial Arts,Maphilindo Silat,Thai Boxing and PFM Clinch Fighting and Ju Jitsu.

Below is the timetable for our adult classes. The classes are suitable for men and women (over 16 years) and are open to all abilities.

The first class is free. So come along and join in. Just wear comfortable, loose clothing and trainers.

The new full time academy is opening on Monday 5th January 2009 at North Place Centre, Hayden Place, Guildford, Surrey, GU1 4ND.

You can join us for the whole evening, or just join us for a one hour class depending on your preferences and ability to get to the class times set below.

PRICING

UNLIMITED TRAINING

The Unlimited training option is set up as a monthly Direct Debit which is taken every 4 weeks regardless of how much you train. The Unlimited training option allows you to train up to 3 nights per week, giving you up to 24 hours worth of training each month.

Unlimited Adult Classes £55 every 4 weeks via direct debit

PAYMENT CARDS

The payment card is a Pay as you go option to training and is bought from the instructor in cash at the class. You will need to bring your card with you to each training session. Your instructor will sign off your card each time you attend.

The standard Pay as you go card gives you five nights of training. This can include both hours each night.
The Ultimate Pay as you go card gives you ten nights of training. This can include both hours each night.

Billing for unlimited classes is done via PayPal direct debit each month. Pay as You Go Cards can be purchased at the club in cash.

MEMBERSHIP

To join the PFM Academy, just come along and have a go. Your first class is free so feel free to join in on any of the evening classes above. If you decide that you like the club and want to continue training with us, we will ask you to fill in a form to cover your insurance while you train. You will also be given the opportunity to either set up a Direct Debit for unlimited classes or to purchase one of our payment cards.

EQUIPMENT

Compulsory Equipment

MMA shorts or kickboxing trousers should be worn in all classes, along with a coloured club t-shirt to represent your training level. These can be purchased at the club.

All of the above equipment can be purchased at the club.

We do carry some second hand equipment that can be used, however members tend to prefer to purchase their own equipment for hygiene reasons.
