An excellent school in Slough is looking to appoint a qualified teacher of English to work as Head of this important department. The school is looking for a teacher who has experience teaching across age and ability range.
The position is to start in Jan 2010. The School is proud of the way that they are able to produce well-rounded and well-informed students. You will need to have strong, solid classroom management ability.
The school encourages their teachers to impose their own experiences and expertise within their specialist.
You will need to be a qualified teacher (or overseas equivalent)
Honours degree (comparable overseas qualification)
You will need to have proven secondary school teaching experience
Teaching in a secondary school
Good behaviour management abilities
Strong subject knowledge
