Accountant Required - 3 days per week initially

Business Description:
Small but expanding busy practice in Bracknell, part of a national accounting franchise is looking for an experienced accountant to join the existing team. The firm is in start up mode. They have a small but fast growing range of clients that include smaller Limited Companies, partnerships and sole practitioners. This is a part time role. Initially it will be up to 3 days a week but this will increase as the practice grows.

Role Description:
The business owner wants to concentrate on business development and is looking for someone who can take responsibility for setting up processes, managing the workload and ensuring that work is completed to agreed standards. You will take responsibility for providing a complete accounting and business support to their clients including bookkeeping and payroll, monthly and annual accounts preparation, dealing with PAYE and VAT and corporate and personal tax computations.

Experience / Skills Required:
You must have relevant experience, including good practice experience and be used to working on your own initiative. Don’t worry if your tax knowledge is not totally up to date as the necessary training will be provided. You will have good IT skills and you will need to get up to speed with CCH integrated software which covers all aspects of accounts preparation and tax computations as well as practice management – training will be given. You must have good people skills and be able to work unsupervised to strict deadlines. In due course, once additional staff are recruited you will be required to review the work of others.
