Accounts Manager
Based in Reading, our client seeks an experienced Accounts Manager/Finance Manager/ to join their busy team. This is a hands on job that will also see you managing a team of 3. You will report into the Finance Director and be prepared to role your sleeves up and assist in the accountancy duties.
This role is being appointed on a temporary to permanent basis.
Duties will include;
- Fixed Asset Register
- Capital Monitoring reports
- Preparation management accounts
- Annual budgets
- Cash flow forecasting
- Reconciliations - Cash & nominal ledger accounts
- Staff management – monitoring work loads, training, answering enquiries and day-to-day management
- Assisting the FD

Skills/Attributes required;
- Previous experience of managing a small team
- Knowledge of double entry bookkeeping up to Trial Balance is essential
- Ability and will to do a hands on role
- Must have demonstrated experience within a similar position
- Self starter who is able to work on own initiative
- Multitasker from an SME background
- Excellent team player
- Able to communicate effectively especially with non-financial contacts
- Advanced Excel skills, knowledge of V-look is highly advantageous
- Immediately available and able to commit to a temp to perm role
