The Company:


Our client, a leading international company, is currently recruiting for 2 candidates with experience in localisation to work as DTP Operators within a highly successful Global Company. This is an 'ongoing' contract role, although it is usual for the role to last up to 2.5 years.

The Role:

You will mainly be responsible for facilitating the launch of the clients' products in the global market place using a variety of software packages ensuring that cost, delivery and quality are met. You will be in charge of performing the complete DTP localisation cycle in a variety of packages to ensure customer documentation is available for product launch. Assessments concerning the source material will need to be carried out to ensure target market and publication requirements are met, whilst liaising with the DTP Project Coordinators and Project Managers and assisting in problem resolution.
In addition to this, you will be required to troubleshoot production problems on DTP packages, formatting processes and PDF creation.

Candidate Profile:

Suitable candidates should have proven experience within a DTP team and be able to use the software below, preferably all of them but certainly more than one of them:

-In-Design
-Illustrator
-Frame (essential)
-Interleaf Quicksilver
-Word (complex files)
-PowerPoint

The company works in a PC environment, and localisation experience will be indispensable.

Salary/Additional Information:

The salary for this role will be £11 per hour including holiday pay. The salary may be negotiable for the right candidate.
