** Technical Virtualisation Citrix Consultant - CITRIX/XENAPP - BERKS - up to £50k **

One of Hewlett-Packard's leading partners for Enterprise Computing solutions, who also work closely with other industry leaders including Cisco, Microsoft, Oracle and VMware, focusing on Data Centre & Enterprise Computing solutions who have strong working relationships with other major vendors including Cisco, Microsoft, Oracle, Quest, RedHat, SAP, Veritas and VMware are recruiting a Technical Virtualisation Citrix Consultant for their Berkshire offices.

The Virtualisation Technical Consultant will provide relevant technical and design expertise in delivery of the client projects, supporting the Project Office, Pre Sales and Accounts teams in technical engagements.

The client would like the priority to be placed on Citrix application virtualisation, so XenApp. Then, it would be an advantage to get VDI and then server virtualisation on top. So, the order of importance is XenApp, then VDI and then server virtualisation.

You will support Account Managers in selling virtualisation solutions through implementation of relevant technical knowledge and help Account Managers create a need for virtualisation solutions by:
o Conducting customer needs analyses
o Participating in workshops and seminars with customers
o Providing technical support
o Visiting Customer sites with Account Managers and Technical Architects
• Providing technical support to Account Managers and Technical Architects

Have a relevant vendor accreditation eg: VMware – VCP, Microsoft – MCTS, MCSE, MCP, Citrix - CCA. Posses an in-depth technical knowledge, experience and understanding of the key features and benefits of Server and Desktop virtualisation techniques using VMware and Citrix. Generic storage solutions and Backup/Recovery Techniques
