Supplier Contract Manager
Key Accountabilities
-To deliver an improvement plan of £5 - 10m per annum and make significant improvements in the companies cash position on the program through payment terms and payment plan agreements with suppliers
-Lead commercial discussions with vendors relating to the delivery of the operational requirements against the agreed contract and/ or plans, in conjunction with other stakeholders (maintenance service managers, Technical stakeholders and procurement
-Establishment of Supplier communication plans
-Capture of supplier performance data in a manner that ensures any opportunity for retentions, LD`s service credits etc are captured and that any potential penalties to customers are backed off to the suppliers
-Delivery of timely reporting required by the program and other stakeholders
Main areas of responsibility
-Take overall responsibility for the supplier performance ensuring services are deployed to meet the operational and financial objectives of the program
-Act as point of escalation for the maintenance service managers for supplier performance issues and point of escalation into all suppliers.
-Develop and maintain strategies to achieve margin improvement KPI`s through optimizing commercial terms and increasing supplier delivery efficiencies.
-Identify and implement process change within the supply base
-Implement new contracts, contract renewals and change requests.
