Technical Project Manager
A new Technical Project Manager role has arisen will manage and co-ordinate project deliverables within the scope of the Systems Application Integration delivery. YOU WILL HAVE EXPERIENCE WITHIN A TELCO ENVIRONMENT IDEALLY WITH A SYSTEMS INTEGRATION BUSINESS ON THE SOFTWARE SIDE
The TPM will be expected to work closely with the various integration and support teams to achieve a successful and timely conclusion to the projects within their remit.
Key Accountabilities
Ensuring a good understanding and management of both the technical and creative disciplines within the project
Development of proposals and statements of work to define end-to-end solutions
Detailed responsibilities:
Creation of accurate project plans and work schedules based on product and work breakdowns
Assessment and management of risk throughout the project lifecycle
Clearly identification of project goals, and taking a broad view of the project in the organizational context.
Qualifications
Key Skills
Experience of managing Technical Project Managers
PMI or Prince2 equivalent certification and
Good working knowledge of the IT and Internet industry
Telecoms knowledge
Experience with managing technical projects with a high level of technology exposure
Ability to liaise with technical contacts from developer to director level
Knowledge of n-tier e-commerce architectures design and operation
A proven track record as a technical project manager
Strong communication skills and a background in working in a structured, formalised, environment.
Hands on experience with core web technologies such as HTML etc
