Martin Guitars make some of the finest acoustic guitars on the planet. I have never owned or even played a guitar nicer than this one, and it is with great regret that I have to part with it.

This guitar is one of a limited set of 404 John Mayer signature guitars. This one is number 47. I bought it from Guitar Village, and have recently taken it back there to be professionally serviced. I can include the original part-exchange form and tag that was attached to the guitar. Everything that came with the guitar originally is included, as well as a very sturdy hercules guitar stand (which grips the guitar when it is placed in the stand), a fantastic dunlop capo, and a selection of hard and soft plectrums.

It has been kept in a clean environment out of direct sunlight and with a controlled level of moisture and temperature, as is the norm with guitars of this value.

The action on this guitar is low, but despite this it has absolutely no fret buzz. It plays very smoothly, and is identical is specification (same shape, woods, body size) as Eric Clapton's acoustic guitar of choice. This speaks volumes for the sound and playability of these guitars.

Recently I have found I have much less time to play, and I've come to the point where I cannot justify having an instrument of this value just sitting in the corner.

I can't post this, it would cost an astronomical amount to insure, and the case that comes with it is extremely well made and very heavy. I also totally recommend you play this guitar before you make an investment like this. I am willing to accept offers as long as they are reasonable, and may also accept a part exchange for a lower value guitar. Just get in touch with your proposal.
