Do you have experience working with ASD pupils across Key Stage 1 & 2?
** Part time role – 20 hours per week
** Working 1:1 with a young ASD girl

This learning support assistant role is for an immediate start to work with a young girl on the autistic spectrum. She is fairly high functioning and independent, so requires an LSA with high expectations and a firm but fair approach!
The parents wish a female candidate to be appointed for this role and seek a UK graduate able to commit for a minimum of this academic year and potentially ongoing if available.
You will be working within an excellent and friendly Primary school. You will be given full support and training for this role as the school simply seek ‘the right person’. Located within 15 minutes of the local tube, this role would be easily accessible for those living in the West of London or on the Piccadilly/Metropolitan line.
This role would be perfect for an experienced UK graduate located in or around the Uxbridge area.
This role will see you working a 20hr week with this young girl, an ideal placement for a graduate looking to become a teacher in the near future. Although a part time post this role will provide you with more than enough experience to aid your PGCE or GTP application.
You will need to have relevant experience ideally, but most importantly the right personality and temperament to work with a child with special needs. You will face challenges, and so it is key that you are focused and committed to making a difference.
