Bookkeeper job - 12 month contract - based in Slough
My client is looking to recruit an interim bookkeeper to cover a period of 12 months. Ideally starting in the next couple of weeks you will have a extensive hand over with the current candidate who is due to leave on maternity in October. This job is working for a national organisation with multiple depots around the UK. You will report directly into the accounts office manager and work on a day to day basis in a busy finance office.
For this role you must be able to demonstrate practical skills within cashbook maintenance and be able to start asap. Knowledge of Sage will be beneficial.
Job Details:
- Cashbook maintenance.
- Entering payments onto cash book
- Daily banking
- General ledger entry and reconciliation
- Processing bacs payments
- Covering for purchase ledger, sales ledger and credit control when required
