My client, based in Berkshire, is looking to recruit an accountant into this interesting and varied job. Working in a small, family office your will manage all of the accounts associated with the trust including return on investments as well as the charitable aspects of the task. Duties include month, quarter and year-end routines, liaison with the external auditors, tax issues and all other aspects of financial reporting and management. This is a very hands-on role and will be ideal for a candidate who enjoys that aspect of the task.
The successful candidate will be qualified or qualified by experience accountant and ideally STEP qualified. You will have experience of working in a trust and ideally have spent time in a charitable entity. As such, you will be aware of the accounting and tax implications of charitable entities.
