Lavancal Cottage is a Traditional Breton Detached Stone Cottage over 200 years old.
Fully renovated and providing idyllic Self Catering Accommodation in Northern Brittany. Situated in a small hamlet near the village of Plesidy and 10 kms from the medieval town of Guingamp. The cottage is ideally located for easy access to the famous beaches of the North Brittany coastline. 20 miles away is the seaside resort of St Quax Portreiux and 25 miles from the fashionable seaside resort of Binic with its shops and many restaurants. A little further away (1 hour) and you are in the heart of the Pink Granite Coast.

With an open plan living/Kitchen area dominated by a large granite fire place with wood burner.
Fully equipped Kitchen including gas cooker, microwave, fridge and all kitchen utensils and crockery.
With satellite TV (BBC 1,2 & 3 plus other freeview UK channels), Xbox, CD Player, and DVD and Video players
A Dining area with table, 4 chairs and a highchair.
Boxes of Lego and Duplo to occupy children along with a range of board games & videos
One Double Bedroom leading through to One Triple Bedroom – Travel Cot available if required
Downstairs bathroom fitted with a Shower, Wash basin and Toilet
Laundry facilities in the adjoining outhouse with a washing machine, spin dryer and tumble dryer.

The Cottage resides in a private garden.

The cottage has electric heaters in each room and a full basket of firewood is provided for the start of your stay. There is ample supply of extra firewood in the outhouse and you are welcome to use this and either replace what you use or put a donation into the tin inside the cottage. Most visitors usually put in €15 to €20 for a weeks stay.

1/2 hours drive from St Malo and Roscoff Ports, Dinard or Brest Airport serviced by Ryanair. 3 - 4 hours drive from Caen/Le Harve

• Take advantage of the lower fuel prices and cheaper ferries (CHECK OUT LD LINES loads cheaper than Brittany Ferries)

6 hours easy driving from the Channel Tunnel on traffic free motorways ( toll free in Brittany )
