It Solutions Architect
Our client, a large commercial printer, is seeking an IT Solution Architect for their busy headquarters in Basingstoke, Hampshire.
Reporting directly to the IT Programme Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of the company's PDP solution from an IT perspective; as such you will be the principle design authority for the company's PDP solution.
Responsibilities include; responsibility for technical interaction across all IT sub-teams, and collaboration with all other project teams to ensure the IT solution supports all other project aspects, occasionally representing the company and ensuring appropriate presentation of the company's solution.
This role will involve working unsociable hours and travel as required.
Applicants must have a comprehensive technical background covering; Networking and Active Directory Infrastructure, the use of commercial packages for ERP/MRP and Service Management, experience of a BPM server (i.e. BizTalk), Full software development lifecycle, client-server applications within Microsoft environment, and a strong understanding of service level agreements.
Previous experience, ideally to include, significant experience of software architecture on large, multi-faceted and complex IT implementations, either on a large corporate or government scale
This is a 6 month fixed term contract, with the option to extend for a further 6 months.
