Project Manager - Roll out - Security Cleared - LAN - WAN

My client, one of the UK's leading consultancy, is looking for a Project Manager to work on an exciting Government Project.

As a key member of the project you will responsible for developing and executing the Site Roll out Strategy and designing the site roll out organisation. This will also involve the recruitment of the team. You will also be responsible for developing and executing the strategic end to end roll out schedule and the portfolio of site specific implementation plans

Key responsibilities:

- Setting up site roll out programme and transitioning to full roll out capability
- Leading and managing the team across the roll out life cycle from site surveys and detailed planning to equipment staging, installation, commissioning, test and project closure
- Identifying and managing the site roll out interdependencies with the Design and Development Programme, the Authority, Prime Contractor, Consortium Partners and Sub Contractors
- Delivering the site roll out programme on time, to budget and ensuring quality

Ideally university educated you CV must demonstrate your experience of successfully leading a major IT roll out programme working on the supplier side.

Desirable skills:

- Has experience of delivering roll out projects to rail, maritime and airport environments
- Has experience of delivering roll out projects with complex security accreditation governance
- Has experience of working with public border such as UK Borders Agency
- Understanding of, and ability to adhere to, all safety procedures and safe working Practices
- Current SC Security Clearance
