Finance Manager
Based in Reading, our client seeks an experienced Finance Manager/ Accounts Manager to join their busy team. This is a hands on job that will also see you managing a team of 2. You will report into the Finance Director and be prepared to role your sleaves up and assist in the accountancy duties.
This role is being appointed on a temporary to permanent basis.
Duties will include;
- Fixed Asset Register
- Capital Monitoring reports
- Checking invoices
- Preparation management accounts
- Annual budgets
- Cash flow forecasting
- Reconciliations - Cash & nominal ledger accounts
- Posting journals
- Cheque payments
- Staff management – monitoring work loads, training, answering enquiries and day-to-day management
- Assisting the FD in year end preparation

Skills/Attributes required;
· Previous experience of managing a small team
· Knowledge of double entry bookkeeping up to Trial Balance is essential
· Ability and will to do a hands on role
· Must have demonstrated experience within a similar position
· Self starter who is able to work on own initiative
· Multitasker from an SME background
· Excellent team player
· Able to communicate effectively especially with non-financial contacts
· Advanced Excel skills, knowledge of V-look is highly advantageous
· Immediately available and able to commit to a temp to perm role
