One of our leading clients are looking for a Junior Application developer. Our client are one of the leading providers of Outsourced call centre and contact centre services in the UK. Our client deals with both Inbound and Outbound call handling requirements, as well as providing technology based solutions. The services provided by our client fall across multiple clients who are involved in various activities ranging from IT service desks to customer services and retail web ordering processes.
Due to their continued success and growth they require a Junior Software developer to update, modify and maintain their specialist software. The Junior Application developer role is vital to the continued success of the company and success in this role could lead to a more senior role in the near future.
The specific skills required for the Junior Software developer role:
Software development experience
Experience developing applications with a web front end
Experience developing software with a SQL Server database, 2000 would be ideal
Experience with HTML, Javascript, php, .NET would all be very useful but proof of a strong understanding of web development is also acceptable

Tasks & Responsibilities for the Junior Software developer role:
Managing small scale development projects, ensuring projects are complete on time and within budget
Identifying IT solutions and development ideas to business issues
Testing and implementation of new software developments
Design and modify call flow scripts
Maintenance of SQL data base
Search, retrieval and modification of data
Add and modify Databases and tables
Clean, format and load campaign data
Design, modify and run Crystal Reports
Call Statistics reports and analysis via Excel
Develop ad-hoc tools and applications to support Call Centre operation
Maintain and update corporate Website
Support MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Staff Technical training
