Hi,

Was intrested to see if there was anyone in the area intrested in getting together to create something vaguely post-rock, acoustic or electric, as in Mogwai, Do Make Say Think, Sigur Ros, God Speed, Boredums, Theonody Ensemble etc. My tastes in music are relatively broad, as long as the music doesn't involve alot of strutting and tight leather pants. Looking ideally for relaxed folks with similar tastes and moderate skill level in their instruments.

About me: Im 25 I've been playing Guitar/Bass for around 13/14 years, can sing to degree (and have done so in bands many years ago) but have one of those grating grunge esque voices, also can play drums/paino/violin to a limited degree. I have a host of odd little instruments I've picked up over the years I'd like to put to use, violins, madolin, electric violin, dummy keyboards and high quality synth software, fretless bass, acoustic guitar, electrics, penny wistles and all sorts of other crap I've accumulated. I have an HND in Audio Engineering and have all the software and experience required to record and produce on a small scale. I can give samples of previous music as examples of where my musical style/production quality level lies. I have a number of years of expeirence playing in an actively gigging band, but haven't been involved with anything of that ilk in many years (Degree took priority).
