Hays Education are working on behalf of a School in the heart of the Thames Valley who are looking to recruit a Teacher of French and Spanish. The role is to cover maternity and will last for approximately six months, starting in November. You will be required to work on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.


The bulk of the role will be teaching French at KS3 and KS4 with some Spanish at KS4.


The school is a popular and successful centre of learning where both students and teachers work to promote a positive ethos.

 

Ideal candidates that will be considered for this role will:

- Newly Qualified Teachers will be considered

- Have successful experience of developing teaching and learning strategies to meet the needs of all pupils and their continuous improvement.

- Believe in the importance of effective teamwork and a collaborative approach, and be able to build supportive working relationships with colleagues both within and outside the department.

- Have successful experience of curriculum innovation and development;

- Have a sound understanding of school self-evaluation and how this can impact upon raising standards of achievement.

- Be committed to their own professional development and that of other staff within the department.

- Be inspirational, enthusiastic, dynamic, creative and strategic.
