Food and Beverage Manager circa £20k immediate start
The Holiday Inn Reading West is looking for a dynamic individual to take charge of all the F&B areas of the hotel. You will lead and be responsible for a small friendly team ensuring the quality standards and great customer care id delivered at all times.
You should have previous experience as a F&B Manager or Ass. F&B Manager and have a full understanding of the UK licensing laws and ideally be a personal licence holder.
You will also be responsible for ensuring all statutory H&S training is delivered and recorded and for keeping all H&S records up to date.
Job Description
To be responsible for the management of the Food and Beverage operations of the hotel, including Restaurant, Bar, Meetings and Banqueting operations, ensuring that all departments consistently achieve product and hospitality service standards.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1) To provide a first class service to hotel guests and ensure that all Company and Brand Standards are adhered to throughout the Food and Beverage departments.
2) To ensure the quality of food and beverage provision meets and exceeds the needs of all guests ensuring consistently high standards are maintained.
3) To be responsible for all staff related issues including recruitment, motivation, training and performance of all staff within the Food and Beverage departments
4) To ensure that all legal requirements are met in relation to health, safety, hygiene and licensing within all Food and Beverage outlets.
5) To promote sales awareness within the departments and maximise all sales opportunities.
6) To assist the General Manager in compiling the annual budget with a view to maximising revenue from the food and beverage departments
7) To prepare and monitor departmental forecasts and rotas to ensure they are in line with set budgets and meet the service and business needs.
8) To implement and manage an effective stock control system, including the appropriate storage, rotation and retention of stock to ensure that GP’s are achieved throughout the Food & Beverage departments
9) To maintain an effective two-way communication system with relevant employees, managers and other departments.
