This probably shouldn't exclusively be in the dating section of this site. Just looking for other people for both friends and dating. In fact even meeting someone where we both have some active dislike for one another wouldn't be that much of a disaster. I don't dislike many people though, certainly not ones that I know.

I'm generally a happy, laughing person. Not manic or hysterical obviously but neither despondent or dead to the world. Probably a fairly healthy balance. I have very few prejudices, and those I do have I'm not very militant about. I initially distrust people who don't like alcohol and coffee but I do have friends who dislike both, and we still get on and speak to each other.

My vital statistics are probably about average. Medium weight, about 5'9", male, mid 20s etc. Looking for similar, although the complete opposite gender from myself in dating respects. I'm reasonably literate and educated and have a decent job though my hours are a little high at the moment.

I love lots of music, and lots of books and lots of films, like everyone does. A mixture of stuff that everyone likes or that hardly anyone has heard of. Currently listening to a lot of Camera Obscura, Felt, and Kings of Leon. I like being active, walking in the countryside where I live, going to pubs, watching movies, painting, and certainly sleeping on sunday mornings unless there's breakfast and coffee/tea available.

Reading seems very nice but in some respects I haven't discovered it very well, so if you know it better than me or want to explore get in touch!
