Job Summary
 
A part time maintenance inspector is required to provide support to a reputable housing organisation in Reading and the surrounding areas , encompassing approximately 50 housing schemes .
 
Pre-inspections will be sent automatically to your laptop provided , and from this you will complete your surveys .  You will then be required to raise orders and work with the contractors to ensure quality control.   Following completion of works, a post-inspection is to be carried out.
 

Skills and experience

This role requires a self-motivating and organised individual who will carry out inspections thoroughly, whilst maintaining a sense of urgency.

You will be required to work with a Schedule of Rates, and knowledge of the 'Academy' system would be advantageous.

Car driver is essential.



Other information

Opportunity to work remotely.

Laptop provided.

Mileage paid at 40p per mile, from door to door.

Approx 8 hours per day, 2 days per week.

Contract duration expected to be a minimum of 6 months.
