Experienced qualified social worker required for a front line children and families services based in Surrey. This position is working within a local authority with a reputation for paying above the industry standard. Ideally candidates will have a minimum 3 years working knowledge within children and families settings, with experience of court work and child protection procedures, although candidates with less but fully relevant experience will also be considered.

PURPOSE OF JOB:
To function as a highly skilled and experienced practitioner within a defined team of Social Workers, providing high quality services to specific client groups. To enable and support the delivery of these services in an efficient and effective manner, and in accordance with Departmental principles and procedures. To assist the Team Manager in service development, and in certain aspects of supervision and management.

The successful candidate will need to hold a DipSW (or equivalent), must be registered with the GSCC, have a current CRB and hold a valid UK driving license. The post is looking to run for a minimum 6 months contract (3 months reviews). Pay rates are negotiable based on experience and availability.
