This exciting and well established Telecomms giant are currently looking to expand their Support and Engineering teams with an additional Operations Engineer / Systems Administrator.

The role will take responsibility for managing the production hardware environment for the company including production monitoring and issue resolution. Day to day you will handle the installation, configuration and maintenance of virtual server environments and storage area networks, maintaining and monitoring the systems and servers alongside participating in disaster recovery.

Ideally degree educated you will have a strong background in systems administration or engineering with excellent experience in virtual server (VMware or Microsoft Virtual Server) configuration and administration alongside SAN’s. SNMP monitoring would be an advantage and overall knowledge of networking concepts.

Salary £35-45k
