Payroll Controller
In this payroll position you will be fully responsible for a weekly payroll of approximately 1,500 employees. This will be heavily input based to start with but an assistant may be recruited within the next few months. A minimum of 2 years payroll experience is therefore required and anyone who has been involved in process improvement would be at an advantage.
Main duties will involve using Excel and Sage Payroll to input starters and leavers, SSP, SMP, processing a weekly payroll and maintaining employee records.
This position will be made permanent but is being recruited on a temporary basis to start with as they are looking for someone to start by mid to end of November.
Up to date knowledge of current payroll legislations
Good working knowledge of Excel and Sage Line 50 or Sage Payroll
Weekly payroll for a similar amount of employees
