We live in Hook, Hampshire. Its a village not far from Basingstoke and Reading. Although it is in the countryside it is only a train ride from London.

My son is 7 years old. As I work in London, we need help so that my son is cared for while I work. During term time that's 25 hours per week - school pick up and after school care - and during school holidays for 30 to 40 hours per week.

There will be occasional babysitting but most weekends will be free.

The job involves the school run, homework and cooking for my son, plus roughly one day a week cleaning in the house.

A car is available - and will be very useful to ferry my son to and from after school activites and for grocery shopping. A clean drivers licence is required.

Most days you will be free up until 3pm in the afternoon. There are some good colleges around if you want to study locally. My previous Au Pair also spent time doing extra housekeeping and baby sitting for other mums in the village to earn extra money.

The job is "live in". You will have your own bedroom with TV as well as access to a computer with internet access. We are looking to pay up to £80 per week for the right person.

We are looking for someone with loads of energy that enjoys working with kids and wants to be part of a family.

We are looking for someone that speaks reasonable English. Please do not apply if you do not yet have enough english to handle emergencies. Knowledge of Russian and French would also be welcome. You must have a drivers licence, be a competent driver and not be a smoker.
