Export Coordinator
This is an great opportunity for an initiative driven administrator to join a growing company with a strong environmental bias. Key areas of responsibility are: Processing and maintenance of the internal Order Management and Sales system, support for other business functions/responsibilities and general administration work.
This includes:
Obtaining bookings for new orders and entering onto the system
Monitors shipments
Dealing with all shipment related issues (i.e. late loads, short shipments, free-time request and wasted journey charges)
Main liaison with shipping lines and suppliers
Helping with invoicing when available
Sending details of weekly shipments and monitoring shipping details
Dealing with late load issues and amending bookings as necessary.
Up-dating / maintaining spreadsheets
The role will also include additional administration as required and helping to provide support to the MD and Sales managers when needed.
You will be a self starter with bags of initiative and possess excellent attention to detail. You will be accurate and numerate plus have the ability to prioritise.
Excellent interpersonal skills are essential along with strong written and oral communication skills. Typing of presentations may also be required.
