Field Sales Account Manager – Industrial and Government sector
Area: South East England (candidate must reside in South London, Berkshire/M4 corridor or South Coast)
Basic salary £25,000 plus £4000 London Weighting plus bonus £6600 plus car
Superb opportunity to join this international organisation which operates as a partner for construction professionals world wide, supplying innovative solutions offering superior added value. The Field Sales Account Manager will be responsible for achieving and where possible exceeding sales targets and key objectives within a defined sales region.
Main duties
To further develop the profitable sales of Fleet Management services and products to defined customer or project base.
To ensure the appropriate level of coverage is given to both Buying and Potential customers within the customer platform in order to develop profitable growth.
To utilise all elements of the Sales Management Process (SMP) to effectively analyse, implement and control the opportunities within assigned geographical coverage.
To actively manage and develop the growth of key products and key markets within the assigned geographical coverage.
To target the appropriate customer/project/trade groups to ensure the rapid and accelerated introduction of new products.
To actively and effectively demonstrate, service, train and where appropriate test products.
To ensure knowledge and skills are continuously developed for the benefit of both yourself and the company.
To take full responsibility for all assigned company assets.
To ensure compliance with all company policies.
To ensure all company documentation/information is maintained and submitted to necessary deadlines
Skills and experience
1-2 years field sales experience ideally selling to end users, developing existing and new business
Further education preferably in a technical field
The ability to communicate effectively at senior level
The ability to assimilate information effectively and maximise training given
Full driving licence
Package £25K basic plus London weighting (£4K) dependent on location within M25, Bonus £6,600
