Credit Controller - IFA / Insurance Markets

Incisive Recruitment seeks a CREDIT CONTROLLER to work within an Insurance company based in the South. This role is to vet all new distributor agency applications proposed by the Sales team to ensure that they will be able to meet the obligations set out in the Terms of Business Agreement. Candidates will also be required to chase up payments, contract management, supplier / distributor credit checks, sign off from Compliance, Legal and Sales/Marketing and manage all aspects of the ongoing relationships with IFA's in respect to the recovery of commission claw back, potential bad debts and subsequent reporting to the FSA and the movement of Registered Individuals between IFA's.

Must have an understanding of the IFA market, agency procedures and documentation, the principles of credit risk management and good relationship management.

Candidates from the Institute of Credit Management will be highly regarded.
