AREA MANAGER / MULTI SITE MANAGER
My client is currently looking for customer focused AREA SALES MANAGER / AREA MANAGER / MULTI SITE MANAGER to help drive the business forward. Successful applicants need to have strong man management skills, a passion for delivering quality service and the ability to lead, motivate, train and retain a team of people.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
�Maximise stores performance through the management of Key Performance indicators, ensuring that trends are identified and opportunities exploited.
�Initiate action to address performance shortfalls or opportunities (e.g. staffing, stock levels, cost control) so operational targets are met.
�Drive customer service standards and delivery through example so sales & customer satisfaction targets are met
�Communicate & manage corporate policies, legal requirements, procedures and / or instructions so changes are delivered effectively.
�Manage the selection, retention, training & performance of all staff ensuring, the �right type�, and a skilled and motivated workforce able to deliver.
�Identify potential and manage the development of all staff and managers, initiating and supporting further action so that, careers are planned and maximised.
�Create a safe & secure working environment that complies with company standards and legislative requirements.
�Create a positive, yet challenging environment that supports an empowered approach to delivering for the customer.
�Communicate local opportunities, problems & solutions with regional colleagues, ensuring best practise is developed and regional performance is maximised.
�Recommend action and relevant business issues to senior management via an action plan so store & corporate objectives are met.
�Through liaison with the Regional & Area Managers & Store Format Department, ensure store changes are agreed & implemented in line with company standards.
