CCTV Specialist Technical Support Engineer

Up to £30,000 Negotiable dependant on experience
Intapeople are currently looking for an experienced CCTV Technical Support Engineer for a multinational organisation in the Middlesex area. Reporting to the Technical Director the successful candidate will be expected to provide both project based and on-site support to a number of clients throughout the UK and Europe. Due to the nature of this role and the level of client interaction involved candidates must have excellent communication skills on both technical and non-technical levels. Eventually you will grow into a product expert an will be responsible for the provision of pre and post-sales support of advising clients on a number of products.
The essential skills required are:
- Field based CCTV technical support experience
- Experience of supporting CCTV systems
- Strong networking knowledge, including WAN's, LAN's and VLAN's
- IT background (Degree, MS Certifications)
- Knowledge of and experience of working with Cisco and Nortel products is beneficial
- Experience of Windows based operating systems, including XP and embedded platforms
