The Company - Business Development Executive
A growing IT organisation, our client specialise in providing specialised CRM solutions for small and mid-size businesses designed to improve efficiency levels within companies which allows their clients to better manage risk and improve performance. The software enables businesses to gain quick and low cost access to a CRM that can meet their business needs.
The organisation was founded by 3 IT entrepreneurs and they are looking to replicate the success that they achieved with a previous IT business.
The Role - Business Development Executive
Your role as a Business Development Executive will require you to liaise between the marketing department and senior sales team as you will be responsible for supporting marketing campaigns and following up on activity generated from these campaigns. Your duties and responsibilities will also include: assisting in organising events and webinars, identifying and qualifying sales leads and generating new custom for the organisation through building new relationships with industry specialists. There is plenty of scope for progression within the organisation; opportunities include progressing into running webinars and handling sales processes.
Specific characteristics for the Business Development Executive role include:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent in any discipline
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good presentation skills
- Ambition with plenty of drive and self motivation
- Willingness to learn new skills
- Passion for business
- Ability to work effectively in a pressurised environment
- Committed to forging a successful career in sales
