picture this... a nice day... a fabulous day in fact... a girl has a blind date... she has been in contact with this guy over the internet...

his advert on gumtree really intrigued her... his advert was different... in it he said he was in his early 30's... professional and working in the area... he was a bit on the shy side but once you got to know him he was fun to be with... he liked trying new things... he was adverturous and hated monotony in life... he was serious about his goals in life and was on his way there... but he wanted to hold someones hand as he went along... so he could share his happiness... he also mentioned that he was decent looking... and that his best feature were his eyes... and he himself was crazy about girls who had pretty eyes... he liked nothing more than expressive eyes... he liked to run his hair through a girls hair... but i guess who doesnt... he says he is also looking for a cute girl... who can match him step for step... but he is particular about a smile that has the potential to start wars... he says he has a weakness for pretty smiles...

so she is going to meet him... they both already know what they have in common... they are looking forward to this meeting... they see eachother for the 1st time... shake hands or kiss on the cheek??? too late... caught in the moment he was... shy... anyway they go over for a walk to sit at a nice cafe... he says he is glad to finally meet... she says she is a bit nervous... they start talking... a bit formal to begin with but as the coffee warms them up they open up... they start telling each other stories that are semi personal... some they have not shared on a first date... some they have not shared at all... the shyness has gone and he touches her hand... he holds it and she doesnt pull back... that is a good sign he thinks... her phone rings... its a friend who she had asked to check on her... she says there is nothing to worry about... and she turns off the phone... they look out of the window and she rain drops start falling... "i love walking in the rain" he says... "so do i" she says... and they walk in the rain... holding hands... no shyness... walking back to train station to go back to their homes... she asks him if they want to walk through this street... they do... afetr walking for a while he looks back and sees no one is around to look... he pulls her near and they kiss... a soft innocent but long kiss... she later thanks him for taking the hint... they walk back to the station... the rain is getting heavier... they make it to the station...

they are sad to see that both their trains are on time... but what the heck... they kiss again... he hopes it is long enough so that she misses her train... she hopes the same... but not to be... they say good bye until next time...
